AC Milan boss Carlo Ancelotti said he's unlikely to include David Beckham in the starting eleven against AS Roma in the Serie A, saying the veteran midfielder could be introduced in the game as a substitute. The former Real Madrid ace joined the Rosseneri from LA Galaxy on a three-month loan deal starting January, and he is yet to make his Serie A debut. Beckham, who's planning to keep his fitness up during the MLS League break, has exerted huge efforts with the Italian side, but Ancelotti believes he hasn't reached peak form thus far. "He is ready to play, he has worked very professionally and with real effort, but it will be difficult to start him," Ancelotti told a press conference on Saturday. "He will play if he is in the right condition and if we consider he can give a positive contribution to the match." Furthermore, the Italian coach dished out praise for Beckham. "Beckham is a great professional, very committed and we are all happy with him, even if he will only stay at Milan for two months," said Ancelotti.
