Amr Zaki declined to celebrate his goal against Newcastle United because he was unhappy with his goal drought, the Wigan striker's brother said on Saturday. The Egyptian international converted a second-half penalty as Wigan claimed a 2-1 victory over Newcastle United in the Premiership on Friday. It was Zaki's first goal since netting the winner in the Latics' 2-1 win over Portsmouth on the first of November. "Amr endured a difficult month," Saber Zaki told FilGoal.com. "Missing several league games through injury frustrated him. He was also unhappy at failing to score for two successive matches following his recovery." Zaki's progress was hampered by a hamstring injury that sidelined him for four Premiership encounters during the past six weeks. "Amr felt that luck was not on his side. I hope he can find the net many times during the upcoming period," Saber added. The 25-year-old, who is on loan from Cairo giants Zamalek, took his tally to nine league goals. He lies third in the scorers' chart behind Chelsea's Nicolas Anelka (14) and Manchester City's Robinho (10).
