Two men have been arrested over racist abuse against Middlesbrough hitman Ahmed Hossam 'Mido', according to the English Football Association's official website. The 25-year-old Egyptian suffered from racial slurs and blasphemous chanting during his side's Premier League match against Newcastle United at the Riverside Stadium on November 29th. "The FA condemns any racist or Islamaphobic behavior and is committed to working with our clubs and the police to stamp it out," an FA spokesman said. "The priority is to identify the individuals involved in the abuse aimed at Mido on Saturday and take the strongest possible action against them. "We will fully support banning orders for anyone found guilty of racist chanting." Last year, the international striker was insulted during the same fixture by some of the Magpies' discriminative supporters, but no firm actions were taken. Apparently, the FA's is taking his racial incident more serious this time around.
