Video: Al-Muhammadi leads ENPPI to grab a draw from Ahli
Published in FilGoal on 30 - 11 - 2008

Blackburn Rovers target Ahmed Al-Muhammadi led ENPPI to secure a crucial 3-3 draw against Ahli in the Egyptian league on Sunday.
The international full-back dished-out two assists, helping his team to comeback from two goals down to earn a point against the African champions.
Ahli's goals came through a Mohamed Barakat brace (35, 47), and an Amado Flavio header (39). Ahmed Raouf scored twice for ENPPI on 74 and 90 minutes after Rami Adel's own goal for the petroleum side.
The league champions started the game without influential forward Mohamed Abou-Treika, as Ahmed Fathi was given his first start of the season with Barakat playing a free role behind strikers Osama Hosni and Amado Flavio.
After some bland 30 minutes, Ahli began showing a real desire to break the deadlock, and in the 35th minute, Barakat did well to bring down a loose ball between three ENPPI defenders, before firing a clever shot with the outside of his right foot past the helpless Essam Mahmoud.
Four minutes later, Ahli added a second. Gilberto's free kick from the right flank was met by Wael Gomaa on the far post. The defender flicked the cross down to Flavio, and the latter connected with a free header from close range.
Just before the end of the first half whistle, ENPPI were given a lifeline thanks to a Rami Adel own goal. The defender headed into his own net, while trying to clear Ayman Saied's early cross.
The Red Devils restated the game in fashion. Just two minutes on, and Hossam Ashour released Barakat through on goal with a brilliant pass. Barakat knew exactly what to do as he brought the pass down with his right and fired in with his left.

Barakat scored twice
Ahli cooled down their tempo after scoring their third, and the players looked as if they already grabbed the game's points.
However, ENPPI bounced back once more on 74 minutes when Al-Muhammadi's pinpoint cross from the right found the unguarded Raouf, who did well to head into Abdul-Hamid's far corner.
ENPPI's efforts to equalize received a blow when skipper Saied received his marching orders two minutes from time, after being shown a second yellow card.
Courageously enough, Anwar Salama's men caught Ahli's defense napping again to level the score on 90 minutes.
Vincent Die Foneye's chip pass was cleverly volleyed by Al-Muhammadi towards Raouf, who once again slotted home from the heart of the Ahli defense.
The draw comes less than a week after Ahli's loss to Police Union, and now the league holders are left in sixth place with 17 points from nine games and two games in hand.
ENPPI climb to second with 24 points, just four points behind leaders Petrojet.
