Following his team's 2-0 win over Bayer Leverkusen on Saturday, Bayern Munich coach Jurgen Klinsmann said that he is very happy with his players' recent displays. After a sloppy start to their season, Bayern managed to climb the Bundesliga table towards second spot, as well as secure a place in the UEFA Champions League knock-out stages. "We simply have extra class at the moment. There's so much good football in the team. The lads are enjoying themselves and they're fit," Klinsmann said after the Leverkusen win. The former German international stressed that his work with the team since he took over in the summer is finally paying off. "We've worked really hard for four months. It's taken us a while to get up to speed, but the team's enjoying the fruits of their labours now." The Bavarians are now three points behind league leaders Hoffenheim, and Klinsmann seemed fired up for meeting the Bundesliga's surprise package next week. "We have plenty of respect for Hoffenheim and we're happy to compliment them, but our aim is to go top of the league at some point soon. "We're really looking forward to them coming to Munich. It's a meeting between two top-class teams."
