Bayern GM Uli Hoeness sounded his dissatisfaction over media criticism of coach Jurgen Klinsmann, stressing that the latter has the full backing of the board. Klinsmann was subjected to severe criticism recently, following Bayern's stuttering Bundesliga form after the winter break, which saw them slip to fifth place in the table. However, Hoeness does not see much of a crisis as he believes the Bavarian giants are still on course to win the treble this season. "I find it very unfair what is happening at the moment, I have to ask myself, are we threatened with relegation?" Hoeness told Munich-based newspaper tz. "We can still meet all out targets. In the Champions League we have even exceeded our targets. "Despite all this the coach is constantly being questioned. I really do not know what Jurgen needs to do to stop this. We stand by Jurgen Klinsmann." Bayern have virtually qualified for the quarter-finals of the Champions League after their 5-0 round of 16 first-leg drubbing of Sporting Lisbon last week. They will also face Bayer Leverkusen in the German Cup semi-finals on Wednesday.
