Essam Al-Hadari insisted he is not ready to make a comeback to the Egyptian league in the near future as he intends to stay in Europe. Despite declaring earlier that he is 'under Ahli's command at any time', the Sion goalkeeper told his personal web site that he is happy with his spell in Europe. "I will not return to Egypt at the mean time because I intend to sustain my spell in European football," the Egypt guardian said. Hadari was reportedly linked with Ahli and Zamalek in recent weeks, amid his stuttering bout with Sion. The 36-year-old has also claimed recently that he has offers from two French Ligue1 clubs, as his exit from Sion seems imminent. Sion Statement Hadari issued a statement to the supporters of Sion on his website, after falling out with a contingent of the Swiss side in late. Sion fans were angry with Hadari after he skipped the 2-1 defeat at Bellinzona earlier this month, accusing him of faking injury. "First I would like to thank you for your warming reception when I first arrived at Valais last April," the statement said. "I will be at Sion Friday morning, and I will be ready to play the match if the technical team decides my participation. I am ready to fulfill my duty and to defend the colors of FC Sion at any time. "As for the events that took place in the past 3 weeks, first I would like to thank Mr. Christian Constantine for his support, I understand the anger of some of FC Sion supporters. "The whole issue was a big misunderstanding. I did not fake any injury during the match with Basel a couple of weeks ago. "We will need all the support of all the fans in the next matches. I hope to see all the people of the beautiful city of Sion in all the coming games. We will win."
