Olympic have announced the sacking of coach Mosheer Osman as Mohamed Helmi looks set to take charge. Osman was relieved of his duty due to poor results, which left the newly-promoted side second from bottom with 11 points from 12 league games. The former Eritrea coach led the Alexandrian outfit to a famous victory over Zamalek last month, beating the Cairo giants 3-1 at home. But that was not enough for the club board. Helmi, who left his post as Zamalek assistant coach in the summer, is expected to sign a contract with Olympic on Wednesday.
