FC Sion goalkeeper Essam Al-Hadari stated his dismay with the current situation at the club. The Swiss side are going through a phase of instability after president Christian Constantin sacked tactician Uli Stielike and took his place as an interim coach following a string of bad results. "The atmosphere is very tense at the club, especially during training sessions," Al-Hadari told his official website. "I'm sure this will have a negative effect on the team's league performances." While confirming that he'll be looking for a move away from Sion in January, Hadari stressed that he'll be doing his best to help the team come out of the current crisis until the transfer window reopens. Serious collision Hadari also refuted rumors that he faked an injury during the team's latest league 3-0 loss to FC Basel. The 35-year-old had to be taken off against Basel after he collided with the bar during an attempt to save one of Basel's many attacks. "Replays have shown how serious the injury was. I'd have never walked out on the team if I was fit enough to resume the game," Hadari bitterly said. "I had to be substituted as I was afraid the injury would hinder my contribution for the remainder of the game." It's worth mentioning that Sion have the worst defensive record in the Swiss league after conceding 26 goals in 13 games.
