Police Union have moved one step closer towards signing former Zamalek defender Beshir Al-Tabie. While confirming that Al-Tabie is yet to officially sign for Police, club assistant coach Mohamed Ibrahim told FilGoal.com that the player expressed his strong desire to join the Premier league newcomers. Al-Tabie has been without a club since the end of last season when Zamalek terminated his contract with the club. In the meantime, Ibrahim said that Police are about to sign another former Zamalek defender in the shape of Egypt Telecom's Mahmoud Mahmoud. The shopping spree comes as Police try to enforce their lenient defense after the club conceded 12 goals in nine league games so far in the season.
