Ismaili have turned down an EGP 500.000-bid from Zamalek to sign Mohammed Fadl in January, the costal club said. Ismaili chairman Nasr Aboul-Hassan told FilGoal.com that the offer wasn't up to the international striker's value. "Apparently, Zamalek officials misestimated Fadl," Aboul-Hassan said. "Or maybe they are trying to take advantage of the situation, as he would be able to sign for them for free starting from January." Fadl's contract with Ismaili expires in the end of the season and negotiations for an extension are still unsuccessful. Media reports recently linked the striker with an imminent move to the White Knights. "I prefer keeping him till the end of the year to letting him go for such an absurd fee," Aboul-Hassan added. Meanwhile, the Ismaili president denied considering to sell the contract of defender Sherif Abdul-Fadil to Zamalek or any other club in the foreseeable future. "Abdul-Fadil is staying," he said. "We need him and he was never for sale."
