Egypt have extended their kit sponsorship deal with sports and leisure wear providers Puma until 2014, Egyptian Football Association (EFA) president Samir Zaher said. "The new sponsorship deal will see Puma paying us 800,000 euros every year. We will also receive 200,000 in case we win any title," Zaher told FilGoal.com on Friday. "The EFA will hold a press conference on Saturday to announce the full details of the deal." Zaher, who was elected as the EFA president in 2005, is widely appreciated for exerting lots of efforts to generate income for Egyptian clubs and national teams. His predecessors did not regard that notion highly. The Egyptian League, which was often branded as 'boring and lackluster', was well used by Zaher and the EFA's current board to generate money. Three years ago, the competition's broadcasting rights were sold to several TV networks for the first time in Egypt's footballing history.
