Zambia keeper Kennedy Mweene believes his teammates can hold off the threat of Egypt's striker Amr Zaki when both sides meet in the World Cup qualifiers final phase. Six-time African champions Egypt have been drawn alongside Zambia in Group C that also features Algeria and Rwanda. The Pharaohs host Zambia in the group opener in March 2009. "I know we will have a plan for Zaki and he will feel it," Mweene was quoted as saying by Kick off. "He might be scoring goals in England but Africa is different. "African football is like the First Division in South Africa where there is no space to play and where they can get a man to mark you for the entire 90 minutes of the match." Zaki has been a revelation since joining Wigan Athletic from Zamalek on a season-long loan. The combative striker scored seven goals in eight Premiership games to sit on top of the scorers' chart. Although Mweene suggests that Zaki could find it difficult to replicate that form on the African stage, the 25-year-old proved earlier this year that he can impress anywhere. The former ENPPI striker scored four goals in Egypt's 2008 Nations Cup triumphant campaign last February.
