Mido doubtful for Congo clash

Egypt striker Mido is doubtful for the country's crucial World Cup qualifier against DR Congo on Sunday after picking up a hamstring injury.
The Middlesbrough frontman limped off Thursday's training session after sustaining the injury.
But Mido insists he will do his best to recover in time for the anticipated clash.
“I want to take part in the match, even if I will play for a few minutes,” the 25-year-old told FilGoal.com.
“I will do whatever it takes to be fit for the game. I may start on the bench.”
The news will come as a major blow for Egypt coach Hassan Shehata, who will have to do without Mido's club teammate Mohamed Shawky.
The defensive midfielder has been ruled out of the crucial encounter after suffering a groin injury.
Six-time African champions Egypt will face DR Congo on Sunday in Kinshasa.
Both teams are joint leaders in Group 12 with nine points, three ahead of Malawi.
