Zimbabwe's Dynamos Harare suffered a major blow with the news that midfielder Desmond Maringwa will miss the Champions League clash against Zamalek. The Dynamos vice-captain aggravated a groin injury that kept him on the sidelines for the past three weeks. He had been hoping to take part in Dynamo's match against Zamalek on Sunday, having missed his side's 2-1 victory over ASEC Mimosas last week due to the same injury. "My leg had not fully recovered," Maringwa told Harare Times on Friday. "I had this groin injury that occurred on the Friday before we played Asec and that was the reason I missed that game. "I tried to train with the other players during this week but unfortunately I aggravated the injury and I have not recovered." Zamalek will be seeking a much-needed win over Dynamos at Cairo Stadium to make up for the disappointing 2-1 defeat to arch-rivals Ahli in the group stage opener. On the other hand, Dynamos will be looking to cause an upset and grab another three points after beating Ivorian giants ASEC.
