Abou-Treika participates in Ahli defeat

Mohamed Abou-Treika took part in Ahli's 1-0 friendly defeat against Egyptian newly-promoted side Police Union on Thursday.
The classy playmaker was introduced as a second-half substitute instead of Egyptian-born Qatari winger Hussein Yasser.
Abou-Treika came through the match unscathed. He has a fair chance to feature in Ahli's local Super Cup game against arch-rivals Zamalek on Sunday.
The 29-year-old, who has been suffering from a niggling knee injury, missed Ahli's 2-1 Champions League victory over Zamalek last Sunday.
But now he looks fully fit to participate in the second Cairo derby in the space of eight days.
