The Egyptian Football Association (EFA) will suspend Hani Saied for six months if he does not uphold his agreement with Zamalek club, EFA president Samir Zaher said on Monday. "The Egyptian FA has decided to grant Saied a one-month grace period during which he should complete his signing for Zamalek," Zaher told TV Show Sports Today. "If Saied does not comply, he will face a six-month suspension," he added. The Egyptian FA fined the international defender and obliged him to fulfill his preliminary contract with Zamalek after he refused to complete the move to the Cairo club from Ismaili. Zaher also condemned the frenzy surrounding the local transfer market this off-season and warned that the situation could soon get out of hand. "I received an SMS from the Ahli Supporters Coalition demanding that Saied be allowed to play for their club. "If things will be run this way, then it would be better if we disband the Egyptian FA and committees and let club coalitions run football in the country."
