The Egyptian Football Association (EFA) agreed on the players' committee decision that Zamalek's Mohamed Abdul-Wahed's as well as Ahli defender, Ahmed Sayed's contracts with their clubs are invalid. "Despite Zamalek claiming that the player received his contract money, the EFA decided that Abdul-Wahed's contract with the club was invalid as it wasn't registered," EFA spokesman Medhat Shalabi told FilGoal.com on Saturday. It has been reported earlier that Abdul-Wahed finalized a move to Ismaili next season, which means the new deal with Ismaili will take place after the EFA's decision on the player's contract. Shalabi added the EFA also considered Ahmed Sayed's new contract with Ahli invalid as it includes a term obligating the player to play for Ahli should he return to Egyptian football. However, Sayed told FilGoal.com before the team's French training camp that he is due to sign a new Ahli contract after excluding the obligatory term. Meanwhile, EFA president Samir Zaher is due to hold talks for a new for Egyptian football sponsor as well as setting the new prediction system for the League next season. "Zaher has been assigned to either renew the Federation's contract with the current sponsors or find a new sponsor, the EFA president will be responsible for setting the prediction system," Shalabi said.
