Samir Zaher says the Egyptian FA will not implement additional security measures to prevent fans from making abusive chants against Essam Al-Hadari when Egypt host Malawi. Egypt's last World Cup qualifier at home, a 2-1 victory over DR Congo, was tarnished by the fans' repeated insults towards the Pharaohs' first-choice guardian. Ahli supporters are furious with Al-Hadari after he joined Swiss side Sion without the Egyptian champions' consent. Following the win over DR Congo, Egyptian FA president Zaher branded the fans' behavior as 'shameful'. Egypt's goalkeeping coach Ahmed Soliman was equally angry as he called on the fans to stay at home instead of flooding Cairo Stadium to launch a vicious attack on Al-Hadari. Trust Nevertheless, Zaher says he is confident the fans won't disrupt Egypt's clash against Malawi on Sunday. "We have the utmost confidence in the fans' love for Egypt," Zaher told the FA website. "Their support was a decisive factor in helping the national team win back-to-back Nation Cup titles. "Some reports said that we intend to implement additional security measures in Sunday's match, but I can affirm that those reports are completely untrue. "We fully respect Egyptian fans, whom we believe will heavily support the team against Malawi."
