Spanish striker Daniel Guiza has revealed that he is on the brink of joining AS Roma following reports linking him with a move to the Serie A. The Mallorca striker produced an impressive performance last season scoring 27 Liga goals to earn a place in Spain's Euro 2008 squad. Barcelona and Manchester City have revealed their interest in signing the 27-year old striker. "I had a good season, I'm playing well and I am ready for a bigger club. Roma or Barcelona, or someone else, we'll see," Guiza told la Gazzetta dello Sport. "For now I'm concentrating on the European Championships. But I like Roma, they are a good club and are in the Champions League," added the Spain striker. Guiza's contract expires in June 2009 and he has a €15m release clause.
