Let's join Chelsea, Deco tells Ronaldinho
Published in FilGoal on 17 - 06 - 2008

Deco revealed his desire to play alongside Ronaldinho with Chelsea as he urged the out-of-form Brazilian to shun Manchester City's interest.
Deco is poised to leave Nou Camp this summer, and a move to either Chelsea or Inter Milan looks to be on the cards for the midfield maestro.
Whilst Ronaldinho's future with the Blaugrana remains uncertain as well, Deco admitted that he hopes to re-link with his Barca mate at Stamford Bridge.
"I would like Ronnie to play with me for Chelsea," the Portugal ace was quoted as saying by El Mundo Deportivo.
Deco's move to the Blues would make sense as the latter have recently hired Portugal coach Luiz Felipe Scolari.
City Snub
Deco believes that Ronaldinho is too good to play for a mid-table team like City, who are desperately chasing his signature in the mean time.
"With the greatest respect to Manchester City, I would not like to see Ronaldinho go there and play for them," he added.
"I still consider Ronaldinho to be one of the best players in the world. He needs a huge team to express himself in, one that plays in the Champions League and aims to win it.
"It would be very good for him to go to a really big club, a team with grand aspirations and that will make him feel like he did at Barca.
"He needs that as a person as much as a player."
