Ahli striker Osama Hosni has been included in his side's 18-man squad for the league game against Aluminum after a lengthy spell on the sidelines through injury. Hosni, who is used mostly as a substitute, has been out of action since picking up a groin injury in December's league match against Al-Gaish. Ahli coach Manuel Jose continued his policy of resting key players after the Red Devils claimed a fourth successive Egyptian League title. The likes of Shadi Mohamed, Mohamed Barakat, Gilberto, Mohamed Abou-Treika and Flavio Amado have been omitted from the squad facing Aluminum. Jose has been always complaining that his men did not get proper rest over the last four seasons. This was mainly down to Ahli's Champions League commitments in the summer. This year, many of Ahli players will join Egypt national team in June as the Pharaohs begin their 2010 World Cup qualifying campaign. Portuguese manager Jose gave a chance to several youngsters to prove themselves in the remaining matches of the league.
