Barcelona's Primera Liga hopes appear to have demolished after they surrendered their lead twice to allow Recreativo Huelva claim a 2-2 home draw on Saturday. The draw left Barcelona six points behind leaders Real Madrid with six games remaining. Title holders Real can extend the gap to nine points if they overcome Real Murcia on Sunday. Cameroonian striker Samuel Eto'o put Barcelona ahead after just one minute when he connected with Giovani dos Santos' cross at the far post to head home. Recreativo controversially went level just before the break. Argentine striker Marco Ruben headed goalwards but Barca keeper Victor Valdes managed to handle the ball on the goal-line. But the referee deemed the ball to have crossed the line, awarding the hosts an equalizer. Eto'o restored Barca's lead early in the second half with a splendid swerving drive. But Ruben scored again with an angled header past Valdes to help the struggling Recreativo secure a share of spoils.
