Juventus Captain Alessandro Del Piero showed his understanding to Zlatan Ibrahimovic's angry reaction after being substituted against Palermo last Sunday. “The standard line is to say that the Coach's choice must be respected, but everyone feels disappointed when they are substituted,” Del Piero said to Football Italia. The Inter Milan striker refused to shake hands with his coach Roberto Mancini and was apparently mouthing: “I wish you would leave.” “Having battled and tried to score and taken all the blows, it feels like you have failed if you are taken off and you react against the person you expected to believe in you," added Del Piero. Ibra later said that his words weren't aiming his coach. Reports in the Italian press suggest that the Swede's comments may be addressed to his teammate Luis Figo who played the whole 90 minutes despite refusing to come off the bench last week against Liverpool.
