Schalke striker Kevin Kuranyi believes his side have a strong chance to progress to the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals following the 1-0 victory over Porto. "If we replicated our form in the first-leg we will have a good chance to go through, although Porto are very strong at their venue," Kuranyi said after the match. The German striker notched the winner to help Schalke secure a narrow home victory in the first-leg of the competition's round of 16. "We can have very good preparations for the return leg if we beat Leverkusen and Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga," he added. Schalke, who reached the Champions League knock out phase for the first time in their history, face Porto away from home on March fifth.
