Manchester United Gary Neville denied all speculations claiming that he could be forced to retire because of injuries. The 32-year old defender has been ruled out since last march because of an ankle injury and there have been serious doubts surrounding his future. "I understand that because I've been out so long there is talk about whether I'll make it back," he told BBC on Monday. "But I'm training again and I'm focused on getting fit. Once I get fit, I've no doubts at all that I'll be OK." "Ironically my ankle has been OK for the last couple of months. I've just picked up little knocks but I'm doing the best I can to get fit and I won't put a timescale on my return," concluded the former England international. Neville was knocked against Bolton last season.
