The Cameroon squad seem to be enjoying huge backing from supporters in Kumasi, where they are destined to play group stage games of the African Cup of Nations. Ghanaian media reported that, since their arrival on Friday, the Indomitable Lions have been cheered everywhere by supporters from Cameroon as well as local fans from the Ghanaian city. The four-time champions will clash with holders Egypt in the first group game on Tuesday, as both sides are widely tipped to go through from a Group C which includes Zambia and Sudan. Unlike their opposition, Egypt did not find life easy upon their arrival in Ghana, as the Pharaohs squad struggled to secure a flight from Accra to Kumasi on time due to flight trouble. Cameroon will train at Wesley College Park Stadium before their crunch opener against the record five-time champs.
