Ismaili are considering a loan offer from an unidentified UAE club for the services of left-back Sayed Moawad, who was the subject of a tug of war between the Dervishes and Ahli. The Egypt defender was keen to join Ahli after the Cairo giants tabled a hefty EGP six million bid to sign him earlier this month. However, Moawad was not helped by the intense rivalry between Ismaili and Ahli. Under pressure from the furious fans, Ismaili board decided to turn down Ahli's offer despite the stance of chairman Yehia Al-Koumi, who agreed to offload him. But it now appears Ismaili will adopt a more flexible approach because Ahli are no longer in frame. A club source, who spoke on condition of anonymity, told FilGoal.com on Friday that an Emirate club are ready to pay EGP 1.3 million to sign Moawad until the end of the season. Ismaili have already begun searching for the 28-year-old's replacement, the source added.
