Barcelona signed keeper Jose Manuel Pinto on loan from second division Celta Vigo until the end of the season to have a back-up for Victor Valdes. According to the club's official website, Pinto should be at Camp Nou on Friday to pass the medical and complete the deal. Barcelona got him for €500,000 and the contract includes an option to buy him permanently. Pinto said that he was delighted by this move as he wants to help them in their campaign. The 32-year-old has been recruited by the Catalan giants to provide cover for first choice Victor Valdes after reserve keeper Albert Jorquera was ruled out until the end of the season with a serious knee injury.
