David Beckham hopes he would be included in the plans of the England manager Fabio Capello when he starts his mission next January. "Fabio is one of the managers players look up to and want to manage them. I hope I'll be part of his plans," Beckham told BBC. The England captain played under the helm of the Italian tactician at Real Madrid. He was sidelined by Capello when he signed for Los Angeles Galaxy but then the former Juventus and AS Roma manager changed his mind and brought him back to action to finish in style his career in Spain winning La Liga title. "It gave me an amazing end and I was sad when he got the sack as I believe he had turned the club and the players around and given the fans what they deserved, a trophy," added Becks. Capello has been appointed after Steve McClaren failed to reach the Euro 2008. The 61-year old coach will name his squad in January and his first task will be against Switzerland at Wembley on 6 February.
