Tersana have accepted Ahli's bid to sign midfielder Mahmoud Samir when the January transfer window opens, Hammers' coach Farouk Gaafar said. "I gave the board the all-clear to let Samir depart," Gaafar told FilGoal.com on Wednesday. "Samir is a good player but we have a replacement for him. We will not stand in his way; he is desperate to join Ahli." Gaafar revealed that the financial aspects of the deal will be sorted out between both clubs in the coming few days. Ahli coach Manuel Jose has been tracking skilful playmaker Samir to have a back-up for star Mohamed Abou-Treika. The Red Devils have recently signed Baladeya striker Hani Al-Egeizi. They will also have Ahmed Fathi at their disposal after he finishes his loan spell with Kuwait's Al-Kazma.
