Zamalek have officially rejected a $1M bid for striker Amr Zaki from Saudi Arabia's Al-Wehda, the Whites announced on Monday. Zamalek's official site said that the offer is not too good for the Egypt striker, who is considered as a key player for Ruud Krol's team. The Cairo club stressed that no other proposals than the Wehda offer has been received for the unsettled striker. However, Zaki told FilGoal.com on Sunday that he is awaiting a ₤2.5M offer from Premiership side Portsmouth on Monday. The former Lokomotiv Moscow forward also claimed that Hilal of Saudi Arabia demanded his services for a six-month loan deal worth $650,000. If the Portsmouth bid arrived, Zamalek are likely to accept it as the offer would be in the same range of their asking price for Zaki.
