Wehda have reached an agreement with Ahli to sign Hassan Mostafa on a six-month loan deal, the Saudi club's board member Talaat Al-Tunsi said on Monday. "The deal's details will be announced on Tuesday," Al-Tunsi told Egyptian TV. Ahli were reluctant to offload Mostafa, whose contract runs out in the summer, in order not to lose him for nothing at the end of the season. However, the midfielder has reportedly agreed to pen a three-year contract extension, prompting Ahli to give him the green light to join Wehda. Mostafa follows in Wael Gomaa's footsteps after the combative defender moved to Qatari side Al-Siliya on a six-month loan contract. Al-Tunsi also revealed that his club will open talks with Ahli regarding a possible move for striker Emad Meteb. Despite Manuel Jose's faith in Meteb, the Egypt striker has struggled for form in the past few months.
