Sudan are set to participate in next month's All-Arab Games in Egypt with the Olympic football team, reported Al-Mashaheer newspaper on Sunday. The report claimed that the Sudanese Olympic team will camp in Tripoli, Libya in preparation for the Arab contest on November 11th. The Sudanese first team will be focused on next year's African Cup of Nations in Ghana, where they were drawn with Cameroon, Egypt and Zambia in Group C. African champions Egypt are expected to enter a full-strength team for the competition, after Egyptian FA president Samir Zaher recently declared so. However, Egypt coach Hassan Shehata hinted earlier that he will not field his full-team unless all other participants play with the first team. Asian Nations Cup finalists Saudi Arabia are the only side so far to have confirmed that they will play the All-Arab Games with first team players.
