Amir Azmi is set to file a complaint to FIFA against Saudi side Shabab who refuse to let him join the team or pay his dues, the Egyptian international said. The Riyadh-based club banned Azmi and slammed him with a huge fine and said in an official statement that he failed to link up with the team on time before the season starts. "These accusations are lies," Azmi told FilGoal.com. "I had a written permission from the administration to leave in search for a loan move to Europe." The former Zamalek defender moved to Shabab last season from Greek club PAOK but suffered lack regular football. He tried to move back to Europe but failed to find a suitable offer. However, Shabab refused to give him his dues or let him into training. "I will attach this permission with the complaint and I am sure FIFA will rule in favor of me," Azmi said. Azmi's contract with Shabab runs out in 2010.
