Inter Milan chairman Massimo Moratti praised the team's performance after the thumping 4-1 victory over Roma at the Stadio Olimpico on Saturday. Moratti congratulated the Nerazzurri players and coach Roberto Mancini, who received a special praise from the Inter chairman for his match tactics. "These three points were very important, it's a bit like last season when we came here and won against an in-form Roma," said the Inter president. "This is a fundamental victory for us, for the players and for our morale in general, and for Mancini who showed he's a great coach. "Mancini did very well. He's a coach who knows exactly what to do. I thought he was right to introduce two strikers in the second half when it was eleven men against ten." Mancini took advantage of Ludovic Giuly's 28th minute expulsion as he brought on Argentine duo Hernan Crespo and Julio Cruz, who eventually were on the score sheet. Inter's victory boosted their morale before facing Dutch champions PSV Eindhoven in the UEFA Champions League Group G clash at San Siro on Tuesday.
