Middlesbrough duo Ahmed Hossam "Mido" and Mohamed Shawky and Hamburg's Mohamed Zidan have returned to Egypt squad that will take on Botswana in the 2006 African Nations Cup qualifier on October 13th. "Mido, Shawky and Zidan will be back to the National team. We should start our training camp on October 8th after the League matches," Shawki Gharib, Egypt's assistant coach, told FilGoal.com. The technical staff restricted their choices to only those three players as the rest of the foreign-based players lack regular football with their teams. "We will pick 20 players from the league, in addition to those trio, after the match day 7 to take on Botswana and Japan." Egypt are top of Group 2 of the African qualifiers with eight points, one point above Botswana and two points ahead of Burundi.
