Ahmed Hassan scored twice to give Anderlecht a two-goal lead but the Belgium champions failed to hold on and were held by Zulte-Waregem 2-2 on Saturday. The Egypt captain broke the deadlock three minutes from time with a wonderful sidekick. He doubled his tally in the 57th minute from the spot as Anderlecht looked on their way to a comfortable victory. But Nikica Jelavic imitated Hassan's efforts, scoring twice in the 74th and 83rd minutes respectively to silence the home crowd. Hassan tucked a third ball home but the goal was cancelled after he was adjudged to be in an offside position. Anderlecht are now second with 14 points, one point behind leaders Standard Liege who will play Gent on Sunday.
