Ismaili failed to register a victory in three CAF Confederations Cup games as they lost to Nigerian side Dolphins FC 2-0 on Sunday in Group B. Edu Oyala broke the deadlock in the 22nd minute and Victor Ezeji sealed the win one minute from time. Dolphins climbed to the top of the group with six points, ahead of Merrikh and Kwara United, who have four points each. The Egyptian side root the group with two points. The game was no big show for the spectators but the hosts had the upper hand in the first period and got the lead when Oyala connected with a fine cross to poke home. Ismaili improved slightly after the break but Mohamed Mohsen Abou-Greisha blasted away all his team's chances until Ezeji secured the full points of the game just a minute before the final whistle. With three games to go, Ismaili seem to be millions of miles away from the qualification as only the top seed goes to the final.
