England based duo Hossam Ghaly and Ahmed Fathi will not take part in Egypt's international friendly against Ivory Coast on Wednesday, assistant coach Shawki Gharib said. Both Ghaly and Fathi were not granted an entry visa to France where the match will be played, Gharib told Egyptian Television on Saturday night. The absence of Ghaly, who plays for Premiership side Tottenham and Fathi who plays for Championship club Sheffield, comes as a strong blow for coach Hassan Shehata who considers the duo key members of his squad. Ankaragucu defender Ibrahim Saied has also been ruled out for the same reason.
