Egypt striker Ahmed Hossam 'Mido' claimed that he has signed a four-year deal with Middlesbrough, even though the Premiership side is yet to announce the move officially. Boro manager Gareth Southgate announced on Tuesday that terms have been agreed with Tottenham Hotspur and that Mido's move to the Riverside stadium is only subject to a medical. The 24-year old forward confirmed that a 6.8million Pounds deal has been struck and that he is looking forward to make his debut against Fulham on Saturday. "I passed a medical and signed a four-year deal with Middlesbrough," Mido told FilGoal.com on Wednesday. "I will watch the Wigan game tonight, and I hope I could make the team's squad for the Fulham game." Boro will meet Wigan at the JJB Stadium in their second Premiership game of the new season, following their 2-1 home defeat against Blackburn Rovers in the first matchday.
