Real Madrid have announced that the board meeting scheduled for Monday to discuss on the future of coach Fabio Capello with the club will be postponed, after the Basketball team have clinched the league title on Sunday. "Due to the festivities that have been organized in celebration of the league title in basketball, the Board of Directors' meeting originally scheduled for today has been postponed," read a statement on Real's official web site on Monday. "The day and time of the next Board meeting will be announced in due course." The Italian manager's future with the Royal Club was surrounded by uncertainty despite leading Real to a magnificent Spanish Primera Liga title after a 4-year-drought. Capello revealed recently that he wishes to continue on his role as the club's head coach, but he conceded that the call belongs to chairman Ramon Calderon. The Real president has hinted midway through last season that Capello is set for an exit from the Bernabeu, but now he prefers to delay his final word for a further period. "Now it is not the moment for speaking of Fabio Capello, there will be time later and we are going to enjoy the Basketball triumph a little," Calderon told Spanish daily Marca on Monday. "Until after a couple of weeks there will be no news on this subject." A host of big names are on the line to take over from Capello in case he was axed, the list includes Arsene Wenger, Ronald Koeman, Michael Laudrup and Bernd Schuster.
