Wissem El Abdi has opened fire on Sfaxien president Salah Eddine Zahaf accusing him of causing the recent troubles to make pressure on him to drop his cut out of Zamalek's transfer fee. “I'm under contract with Zamalek and I want to stay here. I have nothing to do with what Zahaf did,” said the Tunisian defender. The 28-year-old player revealed that Sfaxien Chairman wants his to drop his cut $60 000 out of the deal. “I already had many offers from Qatar but I wanted to play here.” The crisis blew up when Zahaf said he reached an agreement with Al-Rayyan over the transfer of the player for $800 000.
