Ghazl Mahalla midfielder Mahmoud Sobhi could be on his way to join Zamalek next season in an EGP 1 million deal. Mahalla board member Ali Al-Abbasi revealed that the two clubs have agreed terms on the move of the defensive midfielder. "We have agreed with Zamalek officials on selling Sobhi for EGP 1 million, but the only obstacle could be the payment method," Al-Abbasi told Dream TV. "We insist on receiving a direct cash payment, but Zamalek said they want to pay the amount on two installments, although I think the case will be solved soon."
Fathallah (F) On the other hand, Al-Abbasi said that defender Mahmoud Fathallah's move to Ahli could fall through, as the Egyptian champions failed to reach Mahalla's asking price. "We have set an EGP 5 million asking price for Fathallah, Ahli offered 2 million, which is totally unacceptable," he added. The Mahalla board member also revealed other offers for the highly rated center-half, but stressed on the 5 million price tag. "We have received other offers for Fathallah from Turkey and England in the 700,000 Euros range, and we won't sell him for less than that."
