Italian striker Luca Toni could be joining German champions Bayern Munich from Fiorentina in a deal worth 18 million Euros, German magazine Sport-Bild reported. Reports suggested that the Italian international has agreed to a 5-year contract worth 5.5 million Euros a year from the Bavarian giants, snubbing other high-profile teams including AC Milan, Juventus and Inter Milan. However, Toni's agent Tulio Tinti denied the reports linking Toni with Bayern, insisting that the prolific striker will not make a decision before the end of the season. Tinti also confirmed that no deal will go through without the acceptance of Fiorentina, who are not willing to sell their top marksman. "The news of an agreement between Toni and Bayern is without any substance," Tinti told Italian news agency ANSA. "No decision will be taken before the end of the season, when representatives from both clubs can meet." The 29-year-old has been the (Capocannonieri) top scorer of the Italian Serie A last season with a record 31 goals, and he is currently fourth in the Serie A charts with 16 goals.
