Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson feels his side now have a major chance of being English Premiership champions after the massive win at Everton on Saturday. The Red Devils earned a hard-fought 4-2 victory at Goodison Park coming back from two goals down, as chasers Chelsea were surprisingly held to a 2-2 home draw with Bolton. "With Chelsea drawing today, the momentum is obviously back with us," the Scotsman told Sky Sports 1. "A five point lead and a better goal difference give us a wonderful chance with three games left, but I think the most important thing is that we are having a go." United extended their lead with the Blues to five points, and Sir Alex knows that the Everton result could be massive to their title bids before United meet Chelsea next week. "The result is significant, we are away to Manchester City next week - in the morning after playing in Milan - and we know what that can do to players, it can be difficult and then we have Chelsea at Stamford Bridge - but I do think the marvelous attitude of the players and the spirit in the camp is going to help us."
Mourinho Ferguson had time to humorously thank Bolton manager Sam Allardyce for his team's part in the result that could hand United the league title. "He will be getting a hug and a kiss, maybe two kisses," he smiled. On the other hand, Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho admitted that his side lost ground in their attempt to retain their league triumph, claiming that United are favorites now despite Chelsea's slight chance. "When the chance is there, we have to believe. But it is almost lost, almost. They have to lose two games and we have to win all three. They are very close," he said in a press conference. The Portuguese coach conceded that he has no room for ruing the poor result, given his side's busy schedule in midweek. "I feel sad but I have a big game on Tuesday night and that's a good thing in this situation, we have no time to be sad."
