Zamalek left-back Tarek Al-Sayed confirmed on Tuesday that he is staying with his side, refuting reports claiming that he signed for Ahli. Al-Sayed said told a press conference that he agreed the terms of a four-year contract with Zamalek. The 28-year-old international refused to comment on his negotiations with Zamalek's arch-rivals Ahli, saying that he is "a white and will always be." Egyptian media reported that Al-Sayed has already signed for Ahli and that he will complete his move to the Red Devils in the end of the season when his contract expires. Ahli have landed Tarek Al-Saied and Mohamed Sedik last summer after they secretly signed during January.
Al-Abdi Meanwhile, Tunisian defender Wissem Al-Abdi was officially introduced as Zamalek's new signing in the same press conference. Al-Abdi wore the number 4 jersey, which was left unoccupied after Ibrahim Saied sealed his switch to the Turkish League. The 27-year-old center-back said he turned down offers from Saudi Arabia, Turkey and France to join Zamalek. Al-Abdi is the second Tunisian defender to join Zamalek following Yamen Bin Zekri. On Sunday, Al-Abdi's Sfaxien teammate Anis Boujelbene has completed his move to Ahli.
