Dubai International Capital (DIC) group are believed to be preparing a bid to takeover Premier League club Liverpool FC, British media reported on Sunday. Liverpool's board have already agreed to give DIC, a branch of Dubai Holding company, access to their financial records, The Mail on Sunday reported. The Merseysiders have already turned down a £450 million ($891 million) takeover bid from American tycoon George Gillett Jr., the owner of NHL franchise Montreal Canadiens. Liverpool have been suffering from debts of up to £80 million and are looking for funding for a new stadium that will cost around £200 million.
