Ahli did not ask for postponing ENPPI game, says Zaher

Ahli are yet to submit an official request to postpone their league game against ENPPI that is scheduled to take place on November sixth, Egyptian FA president Samir Zaher said on Thursday.
"Ahli did not ask for delaying the match, but the EFA are ready to postpone it if the club made an official request," Zaher told FilGoal.com.
The Egyptian champions had their match against Suez Cement, which came six days before the team's clash against Sfaxien in the first-leg of the African Champions League final, delayed in order to prepare for the crucial showdown.
"I feel (Ahli president) Hassan Hamdi is embarrassed to ask for another delayer."
"But we have to support the Egyptian representative in the African Cup to help them overcome the first-leg result," Zaher added.
Ahli's chances of retaining their title suffered a blow after they were held to a 1-1 home draw by Tunisia's Sfaxien.
The return-leg will be played in Rades Stadium on the 12 of November, six days after Ahli's Egyptian League meeting with ENPPI.
