Ahli midfielder Mohamed Barakat has been ruled out of Thursday's Egyptian league match against Masri through a knee injury, assistant coach Hossam Al-Badri said.
“Barakat bruised his knee and needs two days to recover,” Al-Badri told FilGoal.com on Wednesday.
“He will miss the match against Masri but will be fir to face ENPPI on November 5th if the game doesn't get postponed,” he added.
Tarek Al-Saied will also be sidelined for the game but Al-Badri insists he will be ready for the return leg of the African Champions League against Sfaxien on November 11th.

Al-Badri revealed that Ahli's head coach Manuel Jose decided to add inactive trio Rami Rabie, Tarek Saad and Hassan Mostafa to the squad traveling to Port Saied for the postponed game.
The title holders are in seventh place on 14 points from 6 matches while Masri lie in 12th place with 8 points only.
Meanwhile, ENPPI football director Alaa Abdul-Sadek said that his club agreed to postpone their league game against Ahli to help prepare the Red Devils prepare for their African encounter.
With ENPPI's approval, the Egyptian FA should have no objection on postponing the game.
Ahli were held to a 1-1 draw by Sfaxien in the first-leg in Cairo on Sunday.
